Siddhi Creations is a brand that offers handcrafterd sarees which have been made with lot of detail. The sarees are from different regions of india. To recall the design brief by the founders, “create an environment that does justice to our work; one that highlights the the unique collection of sarees we offer”. The store is designed true to aesthetics. The ambience of the store evokes a feeling of ethnicity and modernism the moment you arrive. The store overlooks a busy street were in doing the show window showing the brand offerings make a statement.

Celebrating the art of hand

A store that offers a wide range of authentic sarees and a feel good factor for women is designed by reinterpreting the traditional cues for the Indian culture. the use of jaalis as inlay on the tables as well as on the wall modules give a feeling of modern ethnicity. The brand is proud to showcase their work to every customer who walks in. The space cues in the store all lead to the two zones that is saree section and the kanchee section(Kancheevaram pure silk sarees. Kancheevaram is a famous place in South India famous for the art of weaving silk sarees weaved predominantly from pure mulberry silk thread.) The store blends from golden vertical sections to a wooden language for the kanchi section. All the products have been given equal importance in the store.

A contemporary twist in the ritual

The store design palette in terms of form and materials are a combination of the classic and contemporary. A clean beige tile flooring is designed with highlights in stone and brass highlight overlays. Clean ceilings that mirror the flooring highlights and help demarcate specific special zones in the store. Impressions of the traditional architectural embellishments inspired from traditional sculptures, wood carvings, filigree and textures are used in the environment design to create a premium back drop to deliver the ritualistic experience of saree buying.

The store merchandising is supported with ss gold finish and details that help add the authentic touch to the concept. brass lotus sections in the entrnace, brass temple bells, ornate jaalis add authenticity to the traditional overtone of the store design language. Perimeter wall ‘wardrobe kancheevaram’ units in solid wood add the classic rich touch to the exquisitely crafted sarees presented in them.

The lighting concept is a combination of LED accent and soft ambient lighting. The lighting, delivered with 3500K temperature, helps to sharply enhance the festive colors and the gold weaves in the sarees.

The service areas like the trial room and the cash counter are designed to complement the premium experience of the store with the use of rich materials in the design language of the store concept.
